Retail Planner Associate

About The Role

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Associate – Retail Planner to drive merchandise planning, inventory optimization, and store-level allocation across our retail network. You will analyze sales trends, forecast demand, manage inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are available at the right place and time while maximizing business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support category planning through sales, inventory, and demand analysis.
• Manage store-wise and size-wise inventory allocation and replenishment.
• Monitor inventory health to reduce stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Analyze retail KPIs such as sell-through, stock cover, inventory turns, and sales trends.
• Support demand forecasting, seasonal planning, promotions, and product launches.
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards, and MIS using Excel and planning tools.
• Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, SCM, and Retail teams for seamless execution.
• Recommend data-driven actions to improve inventory productivity and category performance.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Retail, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Retail Planning, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Inventory Planning, or Replenishment.
• Experience in Fashion, Lifestyle, Retail, D2C, or E-commerce preferred.
• Strong understanding of merchandise planning, inventory management, and allocation.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS); ERP or retail planning tools are a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
