Job Description
Market Assessment and Business Development
- Conducts market research to understand consumers, competition and current market conditions to help identify new business opportunities.
- Participates with Senior Relationship Managers / Relationship Managers in meetings with key customers, promoters, prospective customers to ensure business continuity and growth and expanding share of wallet from key clients.
- Leverages formal/ informal business networks to identify business development opportunities from new & existing clients into identified market/sectors across the entire portfolio spectrum.
- Works in close coordination with Senior Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers in structuring and restructuring of deals to ensure they effectively address the clients’ financial requirement.
- Works in close coordination with Senior Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers in management of various portfolios to ensure proper understanding of customer needs and ensure their financial needs are addressed.
- Identifies new sales opportunities and leveraging a knowledge sector driven relationship approach to enhance sales and revenue generation through new and existing customers for achievement of established targets and objectives.
- Targets product/ industry specific business opportunities leading to achievement of the budget and ensures seamless coordination between customer & relationship manager.
- Works in close coordination with key stakeholders from Risk Management to closely monitor the credit risk associated with the portfolio, within the operating and strategic plans and in accordance with credit guidelines.
- Review and conducts appraisal of proposals involving detailed analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flows, Management Risk, Industry Risk, economic conditions to ensure complete adherence to risk and regulatory guidelines.
- Review and monitors all deals to ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintenance of highest quality standards of documentation, client communication, process compliance.
- Works in close coordination with relevant BUs to ensure smooth and quick turnaround of transactions as and when required.
