Job Title: PYP Coordinator (IB Primary Years Programme)

Location: Glendale International School, Tellapur

Job Summary:

The PYP Coordinator leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The role ensures high-quality teaching and learning, supports teachers in curriculum delivery, promotes the IB philosophy, and works closely with school leadership to maintain IB standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the implementation of the IB PYP curriculum.
• Support teachers in collaborative planning, inquiry-based learning, and assessment practices.
• Ensure compliance with IB standards and programme requirements.
• Organize professional development and mentor teaching staff.
• Monitor curriculum planning, classroom practices, and student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate IB authorization/evaluation processes and documentation.
• Foster strong communication with parents and the school community regarding the PYP.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous school improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a relevant field.
• IB PYP training/certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with leadership experience in an IB school preferred.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy, curriculum, assessment, and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
