Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage our client-facing projects , both Time & Material / Resource Augmentation projects as well as outcome based projects. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between Virtusa and the client, ensuring the successful ramp up of our team based on customer requirements & ensuring E2E project delivery / outcomes.
Will be responsible to drive the Training Academy to train Developers and Testers and upskill them to be deployed into billable positions. Will be responsible for the smooth integration of our resources into the client's team, optimizing resource utilization, aligning and tracking with agreed project timelines/budgets, taking regular feedback, planning any improvements required and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Will be responsible for both the delivery of results and the management of talent.

Key Responsibilities
- Resource Management & Onboarding:
- Identify, vet, and onboard suitable resources (talent) based on specific client requirements and evaluations.
- Plan and execute Training Academy batches in line with the ramp up for the overall team.
- Oversee the seamless integration of augmented staff into client workflows, tools, and methodologies.
- Manage resource utilization reports to ensure optimal staffing levels, avoiding burnout and over/under-utilization.
- Project Delivery:
- Manage project progress, deliverables, and quality standards for T&M or staff augmentation contracts.
- Track and manage project timeframes, budget estimates, and actuals (hours worked).
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, including hourly rates and not-to-exceed (NTE) clauses if any.
- Liaise with team members and support teams from Virtusa as well as customer side , to resolve any connectivity, onboarding, delivery issues.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily/weekly communication with clients.
- Provide regular transparency in reporting (utilization, project progress, and costs).
- Manage client expectations regarding deliverables, resource performance, and scope changes.
- Identify and manage any performance improvement plans for team members as agreed with stakeholders.
