Role Description The Contract Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing the contractual aspects of projects from pre-award to closeout. Daily activities include reviewing and drafting contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as project management, procurement, finance, and legal. The role involves monitoring contract performance, managing variations and claims, supporting negotiations with clients and subcontractors, and maintaining accurate contract documentation and records. The Contract Manager will also identify contractual risks, recommend mitigation strategies, prepare reports for management, and contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and standard contractual frameworks used in engineering and construction projects.
• Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration for large or complex projects.
• Ability to analyze contractual risks, manage claims and variations, and support dispute resolution processes.
• Proficiency in using office productivity tools and contract/document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a project environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in contract management is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in EPC, construction, or infrastructure sectors; exposure to international contracts (e.g., FIDIC) is beneficial.
