Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Haridwar for a Professor specializing in Sanskrit. The Professor will conduct lectures, develop and deliver course curricula on Sanskrit language and literature, and mentor students in their academic and research pursuits. Responsibilities include conducting and supervising research projects, publishing scholarly articles, contributing to the academic growth of the institution, and participating in curriculum development. The role also involves organizing scholarly activities such as conferences and workshops to promote the discipline of Sanskrit studies.


Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Sanskrit literature, grammar, and script with proven experience in teaching and research.
  • Ability to conduct academic research and contribute to publications in the field of Sanskrit and related studies.
  • Strong mentorship and academic advising skills to guide students in their studies and research projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in both written and spoken Sanskrit and English.
  • Familiarity with organizing academic seminars, workshops, and conferences
  • Commitment to promoting Sanskrit studies within interdisciplinary contexts.
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Sanskrit or a related field with a strong academic and research background.
  • Experience in integrating traditional perspectives with modern academic methodologies is an advantage.
