Key Responsibilities

• Lead undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) teaching in Physiology as per the NMC Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum.
• Conduct lectures, practicals, demonstrations, seminars, and student assessments.
• Guide postgraduate dissertations, research projects, and publications in indexed journals.
• Provide academic leadership, curriculum planning, and faculty mentoring within the department.
• Supervise departmental administration, laboratories, equipment, and documentation.
• Participate in NMC, MUHS, NABH, and other statutory inspections and ensure departmental compliance.
• Contribute to institutional academic activities, CMEs, workshops, faculty development programs, and examination duties.

Qualification

• MD in Physiology or an equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Experience

• Teaching and research experience as per the latest NMC eligibility norms for the post of Professor, with the required academic publications and research credentials.
