Role Review

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor to join our Pharmacy College. The selected candidate will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, faculty mentoring, institutional development, and quality assurance while contributing to the overall growth and excellence of the institution in accordance with PCI norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching for B.Pharm., M.Pharm., and Ph.D. programmes as per PCI regulations.
• Guide postgraduate and doctoral students in research, dissertations, and publications.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed, and UGC CARE journals.
• Mentor faculty members and students to enhance academic and research excellence.
• Lead curriculum development, academic planning, and outcome-based education initiatives.
• Coordinate and support PCI, NAAC, NBA, and other statutory accreditation activities.
• Contribute to academic administration, institutional governance, policy implementation, and quality assurance.
• Promote research collaborations, industry partnerships, consultancy, and innovation initiatives.
• Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, faculty development programmes, and continuing education programmes.
• Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. in the relevant Pharmacy discipline from a recognized university, in accordance with applicable PCI/UGC norms.
• First Class at B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. in the relevant specialization from recognized institutions.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience in a PCI-approved/recognized Pharmacy institution.
• Currently serving as a Professor in a recognized Pharmacy College.
• Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, faculty mentoring, institutional development, and accreditation processes.
• Experience in guiding M.Pharm. and Ph.D. scholars.
