Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Staff role based in Chennai. The Production Staff member will support daily manufacturing operations, including operating equipment, following production schedules, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, checking materials and outputs for defects, and reporting any issues to supervisors to support quality control and continuous improvement. The role also involves coordinating with team members and other departments, following work instructions and standard operating procedures, and participating in training to learn new processes and enhance technical skills. The position requires adherence to company safety policies and productivity targets to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Qualifications

  • Ability to support production planning and assist in organizing daily manufacturing activities.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other departments.
  • Knowledge of basic quality control practices and attention to detail when inspecting materials and finished products.
  • Exposure to production management concepts and willingness to follow standard operating procedures on the shop floor.
  • Interest in training and continuous learning to improve technical skills and adapt to new processes.
  • Basic understanding of industrial safety practices and ability to follow safety guidelines consistently.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or vocational/technical qualification; experience in manufacturing or automotive-related production is an advantage.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle routine manual tasks, and work in shift-based schedules as required.
