Role Description The Priority Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Meerut, responsible for managing and growing relationships with priority banking customers. This role includes understanding clients’ financial needs, offering suitable banking products and services, and ensuring high standards of service and satisfaction. Daily activities involve portfolio management, regular client meetings, cross-selling and up-selling bank products, handling customer queries and escalations, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth service delivery. The Priority Relationship Manager will also monitor account activity, track revenue and profitability from assigned portfolios, and adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements. The role requires proactive business development, participation in local marketing initiatives, and consistent follow-up to deepen customer engagement with the bank.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management, client service, and communication skills to effectively interact with priority banking customers.
  • Candidates should possess sales, cross-selling, and business development skills to grow the portfolio and achieve revenue and product penetration targets.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of retail banking products, financial services, and digital banking channels (e.g., UPI, IMPS, NEFT/RTGS) to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Candidates should possess analytical, portfolio management, and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs, monitor account performance, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client relationships, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Relevant experience in priority/wealth/retail banking relationship management or similar customer-facing financial roles is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field is desirable; professional banking certifications are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively with branch and back-office teams, adhere to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, and maintain high ethical standards.
