Payment Onboarding Specialist

Job description

We're hiring a full-time Payment Onboarding Specialist (remote, Mumbai-based candidates only) to help our A.I.C.A program members complete their enrollment. Many members struggle with setting up eNACH, auto-debit, and payment automation during the orientation call — this role exists to personally guide them through it, one-on-one, so they get fully onboarded onto the platform without friction or drop-off.

Responsibilities

• Join orientation calls alongside the founder to identify members who need help completing eNACH/auto-debit setup
• Get on individual one-on-one calls with members to walk them through the payment setup process step by step (bank app navigation, UPI mandate approval, auto-debit authorization, etc.)
• Patiently troubleshoot common setup issues (bank app errors, OTP/mandate approval failures, wrong account details) and guide non-technical users with clear, simple instructions
• Track and follow up with members who haven't completed setup until onboarding is confirmed
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding status and escalate recurring technical issues to the team
• Represent the brand with patience and professionalism, especially with users who may be frustrated or confused by the process

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills in Hindi and English; patient, calm phone/call manner
• Comfortable guiding non-technical users through banking apps, UPI, and payment mandates
• Prior experience in telecalling, customer support, onboarding, or collections is a plus
• Basic understanding of eNACH, UPI AutoPay, or payment gateway mandate flows (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while based in Mumbai

Compensation

₹20,000–₹25,000/month fixed + incentive per successful onboarding (discussed at interview)
