Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager at the Nordstrom Distribution Center located in Gainesville, FL. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day distribution center operations, ensure timely and efficient order processing, manage staff scheduling and productivity, and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and meet key performance indicators. Responsibilities also include supervising inventory control, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance practices relevant to distribution center operations.
• Proficiency with operational software and tools used for warehouse management and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a distribution center or similar environment is highly beneficial.
