About the Role

We're looking for someone who lives inside Seller Central, not just manages it. This is a highly execution-focused role with end-to-end ownership of BearHugs' marketplace presence across Amazon and Flipkart. From improving organic rankings and optimizing listings to managing advertising performance and pricing competitiveness, you'll drive marketplace growth directly. Working closely with the founding team, you'll have real ownership and accountability for the P&L performance of our marketplace channels.

This is not a coordination or reporting role - you're expected to be hands-on in the platforms daily, not just reviewing dashboards someone else built.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Listing Optimization & Search Visibility
  • Own and optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ Content, and backend keyword architecture across Amazon and Flipkart listings.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research and search term optimization using Helium 10 (Cerebro, Magnet, Frankenstein) and SEMrush to identify high-intent, low-competition opportunities.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, search visibility, and organic performance, taking proactive action to address ranking declines.
  • Audit and improve listing quality, content relevance, image sequencing, and conversion-focused content strategies.
  • Continuously test and implement listing improvements to increase traffic, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
B. Amazon Advertising
  • Build, manage, and optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
  • Develop campaign structures including keyword segmentation, match-type strategies, bid management, dayparting, and negative keyword optimization.
  • Drive advertising efficiency by maintaining target ACoS and TACoS while supporting organic ranking growth.
  • Analyze campaign performance regularly, identify underperforming keywords and ASINs, and reallocate budgets accordingly.
  • Generate actionable insights from advertising data to improve ROAS and overall marketplace profitability.
C. Pricing & Competitive Intelligence
  • Monitor pricing index scores and marketplace competitiveness to prevent listing suppression and maintain strong performance.
  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, Best Seller Rank (BSR) movements, and marketplace trends using Helium 10 and manual competitive research.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership on pricing decisions that impact Buy Box ownership, profitability, or market share.
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies for deals, coupons, and Lightning Deals, backed by projected ROI analysis.
D. Inventory & Operations
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain and operations to maintain healthy inventory levels and avoid stockouts.
  • Monitor inventory health, stranded inventory, suppressed listings, and account performance issues, resolving them proactively.
  • Ensure marketplace readiness during seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and high-demand periods.
E. Reporting & Analytics
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards tracking organic rankings, CPC, CTR, CVR, ACoS, TACoS, BSR trends, and pricing performance.
  • Present weekly and monthly business reviews with clear insights, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and profitability enhancements.
What You Must Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in any quantitative, business, or economics-adjacent field (B.Com, BBA, Engineering, Economics, etc.)
  • Hands-on Amazon Advertising experience - Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display. You should be comfortable building and optimizing campaign structures independently, not just reading reports someone else set up. (Non-negotiable.)
  • Advanced Excel - pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and the ability to build and maintain reporting dashboards from raw exports without hand-holding. (Non-negotiable.)
  • Direct Seller Central experience (Amazon required; Flipkart Seller Hub a strong plus).
  • Comfort owning numbers — you'll be accountable for P&L outcomes, not just activity metrics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in handling Amazon & Flipkart account


Good to Have
  • Working knowledge of Helium 10 (Cerebro, Magnet, Frankenstein) and SEMrush.
  • Flipkart Ads management experience.
  • Prior experience in D2C or FMCG/CPG e-commerce, ideally in a category with fast-moving SKUs.
