Role Overview
The Manager – CFO Services will act as a virtual CFO and finance partner to SME, corporate, and growth-stage clients. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for accounting oversight, MIS & financial analysis, statutory compliances, credit appraisal, and debt advisory execution.
The incumbent will work closely with promoters, internal advisory teams, and external stakeholders including banks, NBFCs, AIFs, auditors, and consultants, ensuring strong financial discipline, compliance, and successful capital-raising outcomes.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting, Financial Control & Governance
- Oversee maintenance of books of accounts using Tally and other accounting systems
- Review day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end closures
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements
- Maintain strong documentation standards and audit trails
- Support statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with ROC requirements, including:
- Annual filings (AOC-4, MGT-7 / MGT-7A)
- Support for board resolutions and statutory documentation
- Taxation, Regulatory & Statutory Compliances
- GST Compliance
- Review GST data and reconciliations with books
- Support filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation with GSTR-2B
- Handle GST notices and coordinate with consultants
- TDS Compliance
- Review TDS workings under applicable sections
- Ensure timely filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
- Coordinate challans, Form 16 / 16A, and TRACES reconciliations
- Professional Tax Compliance
- Working knowledge of PTRC (Professional Tax Registration Certificate) and PTEC (Professional Tax Enrollment Certificate)
- Ensure timely PT payments and return filings
- Labour Law Exposure
- Coordination for PF, ESIC, and payroll-linked statutory compliances
- Liaison with HR/payroll teams and external consultants
- MIS, Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Lead preparation and review of monthly and quarterly MIS
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, trackers, and reports using Advanced MS Excel
- Perform ratio analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis, and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data
- Provide actionable financial insights to promoters and internal stakeholders
- CFO Advisory & Client Engagement
- Act as a finance partner to client businesses for:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Working capital and liquidity management
- Cost optimization and financial planning
- Assist promoters in understanding financial performance and funding needs
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and compliance professionals
- Credit Appraisal, CMA & Debt Advisory
- Lead and review preparation of CMA data, projections, and bank-specific formats
- Analyze audited and provisional financials, cash flows, and bank statements
- Prepare credit appraisal notes, financial summaries, and working papers
- Support structuring of:
- Working capital limits
- Term loans
- Structured credit and alternative lending solutions
- Assist in preparation of:
- Debt proposal decks
- Information Memorandums (IMs)
- Lender presentations
- Track lender queries, sanctions, conditions precedent, and disbursements
- Coordination, Execution & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal teams (credit, legal, compliance, operations)
- Liaise with clients, lenders, auditors, and advisors for documentation and data
- Ensure timely closure of sanction conditions and disbursement requirements
- Maintain strong follow-up mechanisms and execution discipline
- Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Support
- Monitor assigned client portfolios for financial performance and covenant compliance
- Identify early warning signals and escalate risks to senior management
- Support portfolio reviews, internal reporting, and audit requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Hands-on experience with Tally and end-to-end accounting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups, dashboards)
- Practical exposure to GST, TDS, ROC, Professional Tax, and basic labour law compliances
- Experience in CMA preparation, credit appraisal, and banking documentation
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and follow-up discipline
- Experience in CFO services, corporate finance, debt syndication, or advisory
- Familiarity with banking, NBFC, and alternative lending ecosystems
- Exposure to financial modeling, credit risk frameworks, or ECL concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Mandatory)
- CA (Qualified) / CA Inter strongly preferred
- MBA / PGDM (Finance) or equivalent postgraduate qualification (Preferred)
- CFA Level I / FRM / Financial Modeling or Credit Certifications (Added advantage)
- 3–9 years of experience in CFO services, accounting & MIS, statutory compliances, credit analysis, or debt advisory
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, compliance-driven, client-facing advisory environment
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Accurate and timely accounting, MIS, and statutory compliance
- High-quality credit appraisal and debt advisory execution
- Smooth closure of funding and advisory mandates
- Strong client satisfaction and internal stakeholder feedback
