Role Description The Liaison Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing relationships between Horizon Ventures, clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. The role involves coordinating project-related communications, arranging and attending meetings, and ensuring that all parties have clear, accurate information regarding environmental guidelines, compliance requirements, and project progress. The Liaison Officer will assist in preparing documentation, reports, and presentations, track approvals and submissions, and follow up with authorities to support timely project execution. This position also includes addressing stakeholder queries, supporting client onboarding and training activities, and collaborating with internal project teams to align expectations and resolve issues. The Liaison Officer will uphold the company’s standards for professionalism, sustainability, and service quality in every interaction.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build trust and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and present information to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret project data, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder feedback for informed decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess training and facilitation skills to support stakeholder orientation sessions and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Relevant experience in liaison, stakeholder management, or client relations, preferably within environmental consulting, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and government procedures in India is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation tools; familiarity with GIS or project management software is a plus.
