Role Overview
The Facility & MaintenanceLeadwill be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, preventive maintenance, statutory compliance, and infrastructure reliability across all retail stores. The role requires strong technical expertise, vendor management skills, and the ability to maintain brand standards and uptime across locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Store Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across all retail outlets.
- Ensure 100% uptime of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, signage, and other critical systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor store condition audits and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Vendor & AMC Management
- Appoint and manage AMC vendors for HVAC, electrical panels, DG sets, fire systems, lifts, etc.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (electrical safety, fire NOC, mall guidelines, etc.).
- Maintain updated documentation for inspections and audits.
- Implement safety standards across stores.
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual maintenance budget (OPEX).
- Track maintenance expenses and optimize costs.
- Identify energy-saving initiatives and cost-reduction opportunities.
- New Store Support & Handover
- Coordinate with Projects team for new store handovers.
- Ensure snag-list closure before store launch.
- Verify MEP systems, load calculations, and panel schedules.
- Emergency Handling
- Handle emergency breakdowns and crisis management.
- Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution.
- Store uptime percentage
- Preventive maintenance compliance (%)
- Maintenance cost per sq. ft.
- SLA adherence
- Audit compliance score
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in retail facility management
- Experience handling multi-location retail stores preferred
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems
- Vendor management & negotiation
- Budget planning & cost control
- Problem-solving and crisis management
- MS Excel & reporting skills
