Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role is an on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Interior Designer will work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop interior concepts that align with project requirements and the firm’s sustainability-focused vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and producing construction drawings for execution. The role involves regular client interactions to understand needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback. The Interior Designer will also collaborate with project teams during site visits, monitor progress, and ensure that design details are implemented to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetic layouts.
• Knowledge of architecture and construction drawings, including coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Understanding of sustainable design principles and interest in environmentally responsible materials and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and handle on-site coordination in Coimbatore.
