Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Mohali district. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and translate brand aesthetics into functional and visually compelling spaces. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing interior layouts, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and coordinating with the in-house furniture design and production teams. The role also involves preparing construction drawings, working closely with architects and contractors, and ensuring that designs are executed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Interior Designer will participate in site visits, oversee implementation, and align all design work with Woods Decor’s luxury positioning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to develop cohesive design concepts aligned with luxury residential and hospitality interiors.
• Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning to create functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing layouts tailored to client needs and site constraints.
• Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and technical documentation suitable for execution on site.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that reflect premium quality and bespoke design.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools.
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working with luxury or high-end residential interiors is an advantage, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, craftspersons, and project teams.
