We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate and qualify sales opportunities through outbound cold calling, follow-ups, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, be confident interacting with customers over the phone, and have a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
- Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers.
- Follow up on inbound and marketing-generated leads.
- Identify customer requirements and qualify potential opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects through regular follow-ups.
Customer Engagement
- Communicate with customers via calls, emails, and other digital channels.
- Understand customer needs and introduce suitable products and solutions.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Sales Support
- Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Share basic product information with prospective customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and lead handover.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM.
- Update lead status and follow-up activities regularly.
- Prepare basic sales activity reports and track progress against targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (technical background is an advantage).
- 1+ year of experience in Inside Sales, Telecalling, Lead Generation, Customer Support, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (mandatory).
- Confident in making outbound cold calls and engaging with prospective customers.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
Preferred
- Experience in B2C, B2B sales, or lead generation.
- Exposure to electronics, technology, or industrial products is preferred but not mandatory.
