• Lead and mentor the IB DP Languages department, ensuring alignment with IB philosophy, assessment standards, and curriculum frameworks.
• Design and implement department-wide teaching strategies that enhance student engagement, literacy development, and cross-cultural communication.
• Oversee curriculum mapping, unit planning, and assessment moderation to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all language offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to integrate language learning into interdisciplinary projects and global initiatives.
• Conduct regular classroom observations, feedback sessions, and professional development workshops for language faculty.
• Represent the school’s language program at IB workshops, parent meetings, and accreditation reviews.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• IB DP Languages certification or training
• Experience teaching IB DP Language A or Language B courses
• Curriculum design for IB Diploma Programme
• Classroom observation and instructional coaching
• IB moderation and internal assessment guidelines
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional IB-recognized language
  
  

Preferred

• Experience as IB Coordinator or Head of Department
• familiarity with Approaches to Learning (ATL) and Concept-Based Learning
• Experience in international or multicultural school environments
