Role Description The Government Department Liaison is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with local and regional government bodies relevant to infrastructure and construction projects. This role includes coordinating approvals, permits, and compliance documentation, and ensuring that company projects align with applicable regulations and public sector requirements. The liaison will regularly meet with government officials and public agencies, represent AROPAT in discussions and consultations, and communicate regulatory updates to internal teams. Daily activities involve preparing reports, maintaining records of government interactions, supporting tenders and bids, and providing guidance on policy and regulatory changes affecting waterproofing and infrastructure projects. The role also requires close collaboration with project managers and senior leadership to facilitate smooth execution of government-facing activities.
Qualifications

• Strong Government Relations and Public Sector engagement skills, with experience interacting with regulatory authorities and departments.
• Knowledge of Local Government structures, processes, and compliance requirements related to construction and infrastructure.
• Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret policies, regulations, and data, and to provide practical recommendations to project and leadership teams.
• Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment in Ahmedabad, managing multiple government-facing tasks and deadlines.
• Relevant experience in infrastructure, construction, or related industries; prior liaison or regulatory coordination experience is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
