Position Title: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources Reporting To: Director / Management
Location: Head Office / Workshop Coordination
Job Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all human resource functions across the organization, including workshop staff, retail store staff, office team, and support departments.
The role involves recruitment, employee management, payroll coordination, compliance, performance monitoring, discipline management, and building a professional work culture aligned with the brand’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
Manage end-to-end recruitment process for workshop, retail, warehouse, and office staff.
Coordinate interviews with department heads.
Conduct background verification where required.
Ensure timely hiring as per manpower requirements.
Maintain updated employee database.
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
Handle joining formalities and documentation.
Maintain employee records (ID proof, contracts, salary structure, etc.).
Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and other HR documents.
Ensure employees understand company policies and SOPs.
Attendance & Payroll Coordination
Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime.
Coordinate with accounts for salary processing.
Ensure accurate salary structure, incentives, and deductions.
Manage PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance (if applicable).
Performance Management
Monitor staff performance in coordination with department heads.
Conduct periodic performance reviews.
Develop KPI-based performance tracking.
Identify training needs and skill improvement areas.
Discipline & Compliance
Ensure workplace discipline in workshop and retail outlets.
Address employee grievances professionally.
Handle warnings, suspensions, or terminations when required.
Maintain confidentiality in sensitive HR matters.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Develop positive work culture aligned with brand values.
Organize training sessions and motivational meetings.
Improve staff retention strategies.
Implement reward and recognition systems.
Policy Development & SOP Implementation
Draft and implement HR policies.
Ensure all departments follow company SOPs.
Update HR policies as per business growth.
Maintain structured hierarchy and reporting system.
Exit Management
Conduct exit interviews.
Handle full and final settlements.
Manage proper handover procedures.
Maintain records of employee exits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
3–7 years of HR experience (preferably in retail, garment, or manufacturing industry).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
