Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Equity Research based in Mumbai. The role involves leading, developing, and managing the equity research team, analyzing market trends, reviewing and refining research methodologies, and delivering actionable investment recommendations. The Head of Equity Research will also oversee the creation of equity research reports, support client investment decisions, and collaborate with the sales and trading teams to meet client needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills for evaluating market trends and investment opportunities
• Expertise in equities and equity research with a thorough understanding of financial markets
• Experience in investments and finance, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Leadership and team management skills to oversee and guide a team of analysts
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• CFA or equivalent certification is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to build relationships with institutional and HNI clients is a plus
