MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Higher Secondary Schools & Junior Colleges


Role Summary

The Head – Marketing & Admissions will be responsible for driving student enrolment growth across all campuses, strengthening brand positioning, and implementing centralized as well as localized marketing strategies. The role requires a strong blend of strategic planning, execution excellence, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making to achieve admissions and brand objectives for the institution.

Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Planning
  • Develop and implement a group-level marketing and admissions strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define annual admission targets for all campuses, including Higher Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges.
  • Identify new markets, expansion opportunities, and feeder channels to increase admissions.
  • Develop competitive positioning strategies to enhance institutional visibility and reputation.
2. Admissions Management
  • Design and standardize the end-to-end admission process across campuses.
  • Monitor and manage the admissions funnel on a daily and weekly basis (enquiries → counselling → conversions → enrolments).
  • Improve conversion ratios through structured counselling processes, parent engagement strategies, and team training.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive admission experience for parents and students.
  • Build systems for timely follow-ups and enquiry management.
3. Marketing & Branding
  • Lead brand positioning and visibility initiatives across Maharashtra.
  • Plan and execute:
  • ATL & BTL campaigns
  • School outreach programs
  • Events, seminars, workshops, and admission drives
  • Print, outdoor, and local marketing activities
  • Ensure consistency in branding, communication, and promotional materials across all campuses.
4. Digital Marketing
  • Oversee digital marketing channels including:
  • Website management
  • SEO & SEM campaigns
  • Social media marketing
  • Online lead generation campaigns
  • Collaborate with digital marketing agencies and vendors for performance marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and ROI on digital spends.
  • Develop data-driven digital strategies to improve enquiry generation and admissions.
5. Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Build strong lead pipelines through:
  • School tie-ups and feeder institutions
  • Education fairs and exhibitions
  • Community engagement programs
  • Referral and outreach campaigns
  • Develop strategic partnerships with coaching institutes, influencers, and academic partners for Junior College admissions.
  • Identify innovative local marketing opportunities to strengthen admissions.
6. Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage:
  • Marketing teams
  • Admission counsellors
  • Tele-calling and enquiry management teams
  • Set KPIs, performance benchmarks, and admission targets for teams.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on counselling, communication, conversion skills, and parent handling.
  • Foster a high-performance, result-oriented team culture.
7. Data & Analytics
  • Track and analyze key metrics such as:
  • Enquiry sources
  • Conversion ratios
  • Cost per lead
  • Cost per admission
  • Campaign effectiveness
  • Use CRM tools to manage and optimize the admissions pipeline.
  • Prepare and present MIS reports and dashboards to leadership regularly.
  • Use market and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions.
8. Budget Management
  • Plan and manage the annual marketing and admissions budget.
  • Optimize cost per lead and cost per admission across campaigns.
  • Ensure maximum ROI on marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Monitor vendor performance and marketing expenditures.
9. Parent Engagement & Experience
  • Develop strategies for:
  • Parent orientation programs
  • Open houses
  • Campus visits and engagement activities
  • Ensure high satisfaction levels during all admission interactions.
  • Build strong parent communication and relationship management systems.
10. Compliance & Coordination
  • Ensure compliance with admission norms and guidelines applicable to educational institutions.
  • Work closely with:
  • Academic Heads
  • Campus Principals
  • Operations Teams
  • Finance and Administration Teams
  • Coordinate effectively to ensure seamless admissions operations across campuses.

Qualifications
  • MBA in Marketing / Business Administration (Preferred)
  • Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory)
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing and Admissions
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Schools / Educational Institutions preferred
  • Experience handling multi-location operations preferred
Compensation
  • Budget: ₹25–30 Lakhs Per Annum (CTC)
