As a Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in providing consistent and impeccable housekeeping services to our valued guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas, and circulatory areas, ensuring they meet the hotel's exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily briefings and take on assigned tasks promptly
- Understand the distinctions between guest levels (VIPs) and Room Categories for personalized service
- Clean and maintain designated areas according to established procedures and standards
- Ensure prompt fulfillment of guest requests and replenish guest supplies as needed
- Report any damages or malfunctions in hotel rooms or areas to the Supervisor
- Keep equipment in a clean and orderly state
- Maintain section room reports and daily productivity reports
- Report lost and found articles to the housekeeping office without delay
- Handle guest complaints tactfully and promptly report incidents or irregularities to the Supervisor
- Report any unusual behavior or activities in guestrooms, floors, or public areas to the Supervisor
- Accurately record room status in the assigned section
- Assist with valet services as required (e.g., linen delivery, processing laundry orders)
- Be well-versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Management
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow team members
