Job Description

Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

Job Purpose

To ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, delivering a comfortable and pleasant experience to all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, balconies, and assigned areas as per established standards.
Replenish guest supplies, amenities, linens, and towels in rooms and public areas.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas including corridors, lobbies, staircases, and staff areas.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.
Follow standard operating procedures for cleaning, chemical usage, and equipment handling.
Ensure proper care and safe use of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and professional conduct at all times.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records related to room status and assigned duties.
Handle additional responsibilities as directed by the Manager from time to time.
Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures at all times.
Serve as a brand ambassador by ensuring consistent brand representation and integrity in appearance, behaviour, and service delivery.
