Production Incharge oversees daily manufacturing, managing staff, schedules, quality, and safety to meet targets efficiently, involving planning, resource allocation (materials, people, equipment), troubleshooting, training, and reporting to management, ensuring smooth, compliant, and cost-effective operations from raw materials to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules, allocate resources (staff, materials, machines), and adjust for demand.Staff Management: Supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate production teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, and ensure products meet specifications.Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance on the floor, managing equipment maintenance.** Operations & Efficiency:** Oversee the entire process, troubleshoot issues/bottlenecks, implement improvements, and track performance.** Resource Management:** Manage budgets, control costs, order materials, and maintain inventory.** Liaison & Reporting:** Collaborate with other departments (sales, procurement, QC) and report progress and issues to senior management.
