Job Title: Functional Safety and Cybersecurity

Report to: Engineering Manager

Position Focus:

• Proficient in ISO 26262.
• Strong experience in Safety Life cycle management activities that includes Safety Planning, Safety Concept development, Hardware & Software Safety requirements development and Evaluation, Safety Analysis (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, DFA)
• Proven previous experience in FSM activities and work products generation (Safety Plan, Safety Case, DIA, Assessment)

Job Description:

• Agree DIA with customer .
• Prepare the Functional Safety Plan according to ISO26262:2018 and DIA; Monitor and document the progress of the tasks defined in the Safety Plan.
• Coordinate functional safety tasks within the overall context of the Project from RFQ to SOP.
• Coordinate topics related to functional safety with Customer and other parts of the development and support organizations.
• Ensure that adequate records are kept about the status / progress of functional safety activities.
• Generate and Maintain Safety Case
• Ensure completion of Verification and Confirmation measures regarding functional safety activities (Audit, reviews, and assessment of functional safety)
• Report safety related issues and status to the Functional Safety Management (independency from Program Management)
• Provide support for establishing DIA, safety plan, Safety Concept, FMEDA, Hardware and Software Safety requirements, Safety Assessments, Safety Audits for new projects.
• Review design and development artefacts and be able to derive a Safety Risk and Mitigation plans

• BCM/ZCM- Body Control Module/Zonal Control Module
• PDB- Power Distribution box
• HCM- Headlamp Control Module
• BDU- Battery Disconnection Units
• BMS- Battery Management Systems

Experience:

• 9-17 years of experience in design and development for Automotive OEM / Tier1/Tier2

Qualification:

• B. E / B.Tech / M. Tech (Electronics or equivalent)
