Valyx is a fintech startup building a comprehensive automation layer for B2B accounting, specifically focused on streamlining Receivables. We are replacing fragmented manual workflows with a robust, automated "operating system" for finance teams.


About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial Sales Account Executive  to build and scale our sales motion. This is a high-impact role focused on building pipelines, driving revenue growth, closing strategic  accounts, and shaping the GTM strategy from the ground up.

You will work directly with the founders to define, manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, serve as trusted advisors to clients and consistently meet or over-achieve quotas by leveraging your relationships with CFOs and senior finance leaders across large and growing organizations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys B2B SaaS sales cycles, and has extensive experience selling to the CFO’s office of the Indian large and enterprise  market (INR 50Cr+ turnover).

What You'll do

  • Own end-to-end sales from pipeline generation to deal closure
  • Drive new logo acquisition across mid-market and large accounts
  • Build relationships with CFOs, finance heads, controllership teams, revenue operations leaders, and procurement stakeholders
  • Lead consultative sales conversations around revenue, billing, receivables, collections workflows, reconciliation, and finance operations
  • Be able to generate your own leads when required - via cold calling, referrals
  • Be able to negotiate and close high value deals in the face of stiff competition
  • Have a deep understanding of features set, product roadmap, and market to accurately address a customers needs. Ability to demo the product, underlying technology and explain the integration modalities 
  • Manage end-to-end sales pipeline from prospecting to deals closure
  • Work closely with founders to shape GTM strategy, positioning, pricing, and enterprise sales playbooks
  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to ensure strong customer onboarding and expansion
  • Identify strategic partnerships and ecosystem opportunities within finance and ERP ecosystems
  • Represent Valyx at industry events, finance communities, and customer meetings

What We're looking for

  • 6–10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales
  • Strong experience selling to the CFO’s office at Indian enterprises and mid-market businesses
  • Proven ability to close high-value B2B SaaS deals 
  • Deep network and experience  engaging CFOs and / or senior finance leaders
  • Strong understanding of finance workflows, ERP systems, or fintech SaaS is highly preferred
  • Ability to independently drive outbound sales and strategic account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch
  • Prior experience in early-stage startups or founding GTM teams is a strong plus
