Role Overview

The Donor Relations Manager is responsible for building, managing, and strengthening relationships with donors to ensure sustained financial support for Tare Zameen Foundation’s programs. This role focuses on donor engagement, communication, stewardship, and retention strategies to enhance long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities1. Donor Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional donors
Serve as the primary point of contact for donor communication and engagement
Ensure timely acknowledgment of donations and personalize interactions
2. Donor Engagement & Retention

Design and implement donor retention strategies
Plan engagement initiatives such as donor meetings, field visits, and events
Track donor satisfaction and proactively address concerns
3. Fundraising Support

Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify new donor opportunities
Support proposal development, presentations, and funding pitches
Assist in campaign execution (digital, events, CSR partnerships)
4. Reporting & Communication

Prepare donor reports, impact updates, newsletters, and case studies
Ensure transparency in fund utilization through clear communication
Maintain donor communication calendar
5. Database & CRM Management

Maintain accurate donor records in CRM/database systems
Analyze donor data to identify trends and improve engagement strategies
Generate periodic reports on donor activity and contributions
6. Events & Outreach

Organize donor appreciation events, webinars, and site visits
Represent the foundation in donor meetings and external forums

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Work, Communications, Business, or related field
1-2 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, CSR, or nonprofit sector (adjustable)
Experience working with NGOs or social impact organizations preferred
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Donor retention rate
Growth in repeat donations
Donor engagement levels (events, meetings, campaigns)
Timeliness and quality of donor reporting
Contribution to fundraising targets
