Role Description The Donor Relations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for managing relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners through regular communication, timely responses, and personalized stewardship. The coordinator will support annual giving campaigns, maintain donor records, and assist with preparing proposals, reports, and impact updates. They will help plan and execute donor events and visits, including logistics, invitations, and follow-up communication. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal teams to gather program information, ensuring high-quality donor service, tracking commitments and contributions, and contributing to strategies that strengthen philanthropy and donor engagement.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear writing, confident speaking, and active listening.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to Annual Giving, including campaign coordination, donor segmentation, and tracking contributions.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship management, and problem-solving.
  • Candidates should possess Event Planning skills, including organizing logistics, coordinating stakeholders, and managing timelines.
  • Candidates should possess an understanding of Philanthropy, donor motivations, and ethical fundraising practices.
  • Relevant experience in fundraising, non-profit administration, or donor relations is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities is important.
  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, social sciences, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comfort with CRM or donor management systems and standard office productivity tools is beneficial.
