Job Description

Job Summary

The Country Head – Ladder will be responsible for leading the national sales strategy for ladder products through dealer and channel networks. The role involves expanding dealer distribution, managing channel partners, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the company’s market presence across India.


Key Responsibilities

1. Channel & Dealer Network Development

  • Develop and expand the dealer and distributor network across India.
  • Identify and appoint new channel partners in key regions.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing dealers and distributors.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve national sales targets for ladder products.
  • Drive sales through dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

3. Market Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities in sectors such as construction, industrial safety, warehouses, retail hardware, and infrastructure.
  • Expand market presence in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.

4. Channel Partner Management

  • Provide product training and support to dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure channel partners maintain stock availability and meet sales targets.
  • Resolve partner issues and strengthen long-term partnerships.

5. Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage regional sales managers and channel sales teams.
  • Set performance targets and monitor sales team productivity.
  • Conduct regular sales review meetings.

6. Business Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, annual budgets, and business plans.
  • Report sales performance and market insights to top management.
  • Implement strategies to improve profitability and market share.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA preferred

Experience

  • 12–18 years of experience in sales and channel management
  • Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role managing dealer/channel networks
