Role Overview

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work directly with the founders and lead end-to-end operations and scaling across India.

This is a founding leadership role with significant ownership and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

⚙️ Execution & Operations

• Build and scale operational systems from the ground up
• Drive execution across multiple business functions
• Ensure speed, efficiency, and accountability

🔗 Partnerships & Expansion

• Develop strategic partnerships across the mobility ecosystem
• Support expansion into new markets and regions
• Manage key external relationships

📈 Growth & Scaling

• Lead rollout across major Indian cities (e.g., Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi)
• Build scalable systems and frameworks
• Execute growth and expansion initiatives

👥 Team Building

• Hire and manage cross-functional teams
• Build a high-performance execution culture
• Set KPIs and drive accountability

🧠 Strategy

• Work closely with founders on company strategy
• Translate vision into actionable execution plans
• Support fundraising and investor engagement

⚖️ Legal & Compliance Coordination

• Engage and manage external legal, tax, and compliance advisors

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Leading daily execution across operations, supply chain, and city teams
• Reviewing key metrics and driving performance improvements
• Working with teams to solve operational challenges in real time
• Meeting partners, vendors, and stakeholders
• Driving expansion across cities in India
• Hiring and mentoring teams
• Turning strategy into execution and tracking progress
• Engaging with global partners and external advisors on operational and compliance matters

Requirements

• 8–15+ years experience in:
• operations
• scaling businesses
• high-growth startups
• Proven track record of:
• building and scaling teams
• executing in fast-paced environments
• managing complex operations
• Strong understanding of the Indian market and operating environment
• Experience working with global partners and external advisors (legal, tax, consulting) is required, with the ability to engage confidently with international stakeholders
