Role Description The Chemistry Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Model Town. The Chemistry Technician will perform routine laboratory tests and analyses related to metals, alloys, and other materials used in jewelry production. Responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and interpreting test results, and assisting with the implementation of quality control procedures. The role involves supporting adherence to manufacturing and safety standards, collaborating with production teams to resolve material-related issues, and documenting findings for internal reporting. The technician will also help optimize processes to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with relevant guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and practical experience handling lab equipment and samples.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and foundational knowledge of Chemistry for materials testing and evaluation.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Quality Control, including monitoring material consistency and documenting test results.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and basic safety and compliance procedures.
  • Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain accurate records, and work collaboratively with production and quality teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn jewelry-specific processes and standards.
