Ceramic Artist
Actively Reviewing the ApplicationsEcora Designs Pvt. Ltd.
Job Description
Company Description
Ecora Designs is a young design and manufacturing studio (est. 2025) founded on a simple belief: the future of design will belong to those who invent new ways of making. It is a women-led startup founded by two sisters, alumni of the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and Imperial Business School, building on a legacy of family manufacturing in textiles. We design and manufacture home décor and lifestyle products, but our real obsession lies deeper - AI, materials, machines, and the strange possibilities that emerge when the three meet. Our products are developed for exports and global markets, but our ethos remains experimental and research-driven.
Arunima, co-founder of Ecora, has also served as a visiting faculty member at CEPT University and NID Ahmedabad, teaching studios on biomaterial-driven design, experimental fabrication, and digital making.
Some days our studio looks like a design office.
Some days it looks like a small factory.
Most days it looks like an experiment that may or may not work; a mildly chaotic playground - and that’s exactly how we like it.
We are designers who accidentally became manufacturers.
Or perhaps manufacturers who still think like designers.
We enjoy strange ideas, unusual materials, and problems that don’t yet have clear solutions. Literature, art, engineering, biotechnology, and code often collide here. We are a small team doing big experiments.
