CAD Designer

About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer who understands structures, product design, and jewellery design, along with how things actually work in real-world applications.

This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and creative thinking to design accurate, functional, and visually appealing models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for structural, product, and jewellery designs
• Understand and apply real-world design principles, dimensions, and tolerances
• Develop designs that are both functional and manufacturable.
• Work on detailed CAD models with clean structure and proper organization
• Collaborate with the team to convert ideas into practical designs

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of structures and how components work together
• Knowledge of design principles, materials, and basic engineering concepts
• Ability to think in 3D and visualize real-world applications
• Attention to detail and precision in modelling.
• Understanding of basic jewellery structures and proportions
• Awareness of stone setting, metal thickness, and manufacturability
• Ability to create clean and production-ready jewellery models

Software Requirements:

• AutoCAD (2D drafting)
• One 3D software: Rhino / Fusion 360 / SolidWorks
• Blender (for rendering/animation)
• MatrixGold / ZBrush (for jewellery design)

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory):

Share your portfolio including:

• CAD drawings (2D + 3D)
• Product or structural designs
• Jewellery design samples (if available)
