Role Description The Business Manager (Modular Designing) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role oversees end-to-end operations for modular interior projects, including kitchen, wardrobe, and storage solutions, from inquiry to handover. The Business Manager coordinates with design, sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible, timelines are met, and projects stay within budget. Responsibilities include reviewing client requirements, guiding modular design proposals, approving material and vendor selections, and monitoring production and installation progress. The role also involves managing client communication, resolving issues, tracking performance metrics, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in interior design or modular furniture, with hands-on experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, or similar projects.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to interpret design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications; familiarity with basic CAD or design tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in vendor management, procurement of materials and hardware, and negotiation with suppliers and contractors.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to manage expectations and address concerns professionally.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor team members and manage on-site execution activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Management, or a related field; relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Comfort working in an on-site environment in Pune Division, with flexibility to visit client locations, vendors, and project sites as needed.
