About Nexus Nord
Nexus Nord is a US-based fintech company building AI-powered lending infrastructure that connects banks with alternative education providers coding bootcamps, vocational schools, and career training programs. Our underwriting platform, Nucleis, enables bank partners to originate education loans with a structured, multi-layer risk protection model. We're an early-stage, founder-led team moving fast toward our first bank partnerships and institutional funding round.
The Role
You'll be the engine behind our outbound growth running targeted outreach to US banks, credit unions, and investors, and booking qualified meetings for the founding team. This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to the CEO. You won't be reading from a generic script; you'll research each target, personalize messaging to their thesis or lending focus, and manage the pipeline end to end.
What You'll Do
- Build and enrich targeted prospect lists (banks, credit unions, angel investors, VCs) using Apollo.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Write personalized, thesis-matched cold email sequences and manage multi-touch campaigns
- Handle replies, qualify interest, and book meetings directly onto the founders' calendars
- Maintain CRM hygiene and deliver a weekly pipeline report with clear metrics
- Support follow-ups with partner schools and assist with adjacent business development projects
- Continuously test and improve messaging, subject lines, and sequences based on reply data
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years as an SDR/BDR at a B2B SaaS or fintech company selling into US markets (required)
- Hands-on experience with Apollo.io (or Lemlist/Instantly/Outreach) list building, sequencing, deliverability basics
- Exceptional written English you can write a cold email a US bank executive would actually reply to
- Strong research instincts: you can read an investor's portfolio or a bank's lending profile and tailor a message to it
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote, async-first environment
- Availability during US Eastern morning hours (7:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST)
Bonus Points
- Background in investment banking, VC, or startup fundraising support
- Prior outreach to financial institutions or institutional investors
- Familiarity with US fintech/lending landscape
