Position: Business Development Executive – Embedded Systems & Electronics

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive for embedded hardware, software, and electronics business, including aerospace and defence electronics solutions and our products. The role is suited to embedded design engineers (hardware, software, or systems) who wish to move into customer-facing business development.


The role involves building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and closing deals for Tamopahaa's products and solutions.


Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Science, or M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Science, from a recognized institution, with first class or above.
  • MBA is preferred


Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in the aerospace, space, or defence electronics domain.
  • Minimum 3 years in sales or account management (may overlap with domain experience).


Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of embedded hardware and software.
  • Basic familiarity with embedded development tools.
  • Understanding of the hardware development process: circuit design, PCB layout, and schematics.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, debugging, and testing.
  • Knowledge of microprocessor/microcontroller-based hardware design.
  • Awareness of hardware qualification standards.
  • Familiarity with 8/16/32-bit microprocessors and microcontrollers.


Business Development Skills

  • Ability to identify opportunities, pitch solutions, and close deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM or opportunity-tracking tools.
  • Understanding of the sales process and market dynamics in the electronics/defence sector.


Communication Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Good client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Interest in business development and marketing.
