Role Description The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, primarily for digital marketing, branding, video production, and web development services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, involving regular client meetings, presentations, and collaboration with internal teams. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, managing a sales pipeline, preparing and delivering pitches, drafting proposals, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, gathering feedback, and working closely with the marketing and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs. The Business Development Executive will track key performance metrics, provide sales reports, and actively contribute to revenue growth and agency visibility in the market.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in lead generation, client acquisition, and sales pipeline management, preferably within a marketing or creative agency environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain digital marketing, branding, video, and web solutions in clear business terms.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, handle multiple accounts, and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts (social media, performance marketing, SEO/SEM), branding, and creative production processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work toward targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in business development, account management, or sales in a marketing, advertising, or digital agency is highly beneficial.
