Business Analyst (2–4 Years Experience) 

Location: Hyderabad (WFO)

About the Role 

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can translate data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic initiatives with data-driven insights. 

 The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools, and a strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Data Analysis & Insights 

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 

• Perform exploratory data analysis to support business decision-making. 

• Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders. 

Business Problem Solving 

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and define analytical approaches. 

• Identify root causes of business problems and propose data-backed solutions. 

• Support strategic initiatives with analytical insights. 

SQL & Data Querying 

• Write complex SQL queries using joins, aggregations, and window functions to extract and analyze data. 

• Work with structured datasets from multiple sources to build analysis-ready datasets. 

Dashboarding & Reporting 

• Build and maintain dashboards using BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau 

• Develop automated reports to track key business metrics and KPIs. 

• Ensure stakeholders have access to accurate and timely insights. 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams to understand analytics needs. 

• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations. 

Required Skills 

• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis 

• Experience with BI / visualization tools (Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) 

• Strong data analysis and statistical reasoning skills 

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 

• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions 

• Strong communication and storytelling skills with data 

Good to Have 

• Experience with Python for data analysis 

• Knowledge of data modeling or data warehousing concepts 

• Experience working in SaaS or technology-driven organizations 

Tools & Technologies

Education 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related analytical fields.
