Job Title: Banquet Sales Executive

Location: VGP Heritage

Job Summary

The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for generating banquet and event business by promoting VGP Heritage's banquet facilities. The role involves handling client inquiries, preparing event proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring excellent customer service from booking to event completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate banquet sales through corporate clients, social events, weddings, and private functions.
  • Handle client inquiries, conduct venue tours, and explain banquet packages.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts for banquet bookings.
  • Coordinate with the Operations, Kitchen, and F&B teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel partners.
  • Achieve monthly and annual banquet sales targets.
  • Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and market research.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction before, during, and after events.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in banquet sales or hotel/event sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of banquet operations and event planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on event schedules.
