Why This Role Matters
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in helping D2C merchants access the capital they need to grow. You'll engage with founders and business owners, understand their financing requirements, and guide them through the entire lending journey—from initial consultation to successful loan disbursal.
Your ability to build trust, understand merchant businesses, and drive consultative sales will directly contribute to expanding GoKwik's financial services ecosystem.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in helping D2C merchants access the capital they need to grow. You'll engage with founders and business owners, understand their financing requirements, and guide them through the entire lending journey—from initial consultation to successful loan disbursal.
Your ability to build trust, understand merchant businesses, and drive consultative sales will directly contribute to expanding GoKwik's financial services ecosystem.
What You'll Own
- Identify, engage, and qualify D2C merchants through inbound and outbound sales channels.
- Connect with eCommerce brands, marketplace sellers, and digital-first businesses to understand their working capital requirements.
- Educate merchants on lending products, including unsecured business loans, working capital financing, credit lines, and cash flow-based financing.
- Understand merchant business models, inventory cycles, sales patterns, advertising investments, and repayment capacity to recommend suitable financing solutions.
- Guide merchants through the complete application journey, including documentation, KYC, onboarding, and loan processing.
- Collaborate closely with Credit, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure seamless underwriting and loan disbursal.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline updates, and follow-up schedules.
- Consistently achieve monthly targets across merchant acquisition, application conversion, sanctioned value, and loan disbursals.
- Ensure compliance with internal lending policies, regulatory requirements, and operational processes.
- Build long-term relationships with merchants while delivering an excellent customer experience throughout the lending journey.
- 1–4 years of experience in inside sales, fintech sales, merchant acquisition, NBFC lending, payments, or B2B financial products.
- Experience working with D2C brands, MSMEs, eCommerce sellers, or digital-first businesses is highly preferred.
- Prior exposure to lending, business loans, or credit products is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Strong understanding of D2C business models, merchant cash flows, and working capital requirements.
- Comfortable engaging with founders, business owners, and finance stakeholders.
- Proficient with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and structured pipeline management.
- Able to explain financial products and lending concepts in a simple and compelling manner.
- Fluent in English, with working proficiency in Hindi preferred.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of managing multiple merchant conversations simultaneously.
- Comfortable interpreting basic business metrics such as revenue, profitability, and cash flow to assess financing needs.
