Associate - Equity Corporate Finance

Location: Mumbai

As an Associate of ECF within the Investment Banking Division, you will play a pivotal role in executing Equity Corporate Finance transactions across diverse sectors. The role involves sourcing and executing various fund-raising transactions including initial public offerings, qualified institutional placements, etc.

Job Description:

• Deep knowledge of various regulations for executing ECF transactions.
• Co-ordinate end-to-end execution of ECF transactions, including due diligence, research, structuring, liasoning with Company, Legal Counsels, Auditors, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless execution.
• Create detailed pitchbooks / presentations for clients.
• Drafting, reviewing and vetting various documents such as Shareholder's Agreement, Engagement Letters, Transaction Agreements and any other regulatory documents
• Ability to understand and analyze the financial statements is required.
• The ability to understand client's business and economics would be important.
• Strong blend of analytical thinking and operations execution is critical.

Skills required :

• Qualified Chartered Accountant, Qualified Company Secretary or MBA for one of the top institutes
• State Strong knowledge of financial concepts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
• Ability to quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team.
• Good communication skills, including ability to hand-hold client as senior levels
