Job Description
Job Title: Senior Analyst - ATR
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Manager ATR EUR
- Purpose of the role
- Key tasks & accountabilities
In close collaboration with the EUR Tax team and other key internal and external stakeholders, the Tax Expert will:
- Assist with month-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual declarations and financial reports.
- Participate in interim, hard close, and final audits.
- Strictly adhere to tax and contribution payment deadlines
- Justify and verify account balances within your area of responsibility.
- Coordinate with Tax, General Department, PTP, and other relevant teams
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes for assigned entities.
- Resolve ad-hoc accounting issues within the tax scope.
- Contribute to field-specific improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, KPIs, and InBev policies.
- Identify and communicate potential risks or issues to the team.
- Maximize process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review operational policies and recommend improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead and Business
- Act as a subject matter expert on all tax-related activities
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their concerns during biweekly and monthly reporting cycles.
- Collaborate closely with Business Operations, balancing innovation with the consistent application of best practices.
- Maintain team flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
- Operate effectively in a challenging environment.
- Adhere to AB InBev's target-setting and performance management processes.
- Promote standardization, process improvement, and best practices across the Zone.
- Stay current with developments in finance and other relevant fields.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to refine practices.
- Identify and implement process and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
- Exemplify GCC shared values in all actions and decisions.
- Qualifications, Experience, Skills
- University degree in B. Com; BBA; M. Com; MBA; CA (Inter)/CA or related areas.
- 3 - 5 years previous work experience
- Technical skills from a wide range including Advanced MS Excel, SAP, Cognos, PowerPoint Presentation
- Experience working with teams spread across different geographies.
- Excellent team player, able to develop relationships with colleagues and peers across functions.
- Knowledge of financial concepts and transactions.
- Good logical and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership to drive meaningful change and strive for excellence.
- Ability to turn opportunities into actions, strategies.
- Organization skills; adherence to deadlines, self-discipline.
- Able to act in a multi-national, inter-cultural environment.
- Able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems for others.
