Qualification: MBA preferred

About the Company

ASOPL (Ajit Singh Om Parkash Pvt. Ltd.) is a well-established FMCG company with operations across North India. We are looking for an experienced Purchase Officer to join our Delhi team and manage procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify vendors/suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order fulfilment
• Maintain and update approved vendor list
• Conduct vendor evaluation and periodic performance reviews
• Coordinate with production/planning team to understand material requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Ensure quality compliance of purchased materials (coordinate with QC team)
• Coordinate with finance/accounts for invoice processing and payment follow-ups
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and budgets
• Visit vendor facilities for audits or negotiations (if required)
• Handle local purchases and petty procurement for operations

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in purchase/procurement
• Prior FMCG purchase experience preferred
• MBA preferred
• Should be comfortable with or have experience using ERP systems
