Position: Assistant Vice President – Sales (Distribution Channel)
Location: Gurugram

Salary: 12LPA – 15LPA
Role Purpose
The Assistant Vice President – Sales (Distribution) will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and leading the distribution channel across defined geographies. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with strong experience in channel creation, distributor management, and revenue growth in high-value products with ticket sizes ranging from ₹5 Lakhs to ₹10 Lakhs.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Development
- Design and execute a pan-India distribution network strategy aligned with business growth plans for Drones.
- Identify, onboard, and develop distributors in priority markets.
- Define channel structure, margins, incentives, and governance models.
- Establish SOPs for channel operations, distributor onboarding, performance management, and compliance.
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Drive annual and long-term sales targets through channel-led growth.
- Build and lead a high-performing regional and zonal sales team.
- Develop territory-wise sales plans, forecasts, and market penetration strategies.
- Ensure strong pipeline management and conversion of high-ticket sales.
Market Expansion & Brand Presence
- Expand footprint in existing and new geographies, especially rural and semi-urban markets.
- Collaborate with marketing to deploy demand generation campaigns at channel level.
Dealer & Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key distributors, and institutional customers.
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure healthy partner engagement.
- Represent the company at key industry forums, exhibitions, and dealer meets.
Business Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and post-sales support.
- Provide strategic inputs on pricing, product positioning, credit policies, and inventory planning.
- Track competition, market trends, and customer insights to refine sales strategy.

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of overall sales experience, with at least
- 5 years of hands-on experience in establishing and scaling distribution channels
- Proven experience in selling high-ticket products (₹5–10 Lakhs range)
Preferred Industry Background
- Tractors/Combines/Agricultural Inputs / Farm Equipment / Agri Machinery
Skills & Competencies
- Strong channel-building

- Deep understanding of rural and semi-urban markets
- Financial acumen and P&L orientation
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, or Business
- MBA / PGDM (Sales & Marketing) preferred
