Job Description
- Electrical load analysis , understanding of standards
- Sizing and selection of storage batteries, generators, alternators
- Design of power system network including sizing of componenets based on load requirements and protection needs , single line diagram, circuit diagrams
- Selection of switchgeras/protection devices based on rated current and short circuit capacity
- Sizing and selection of cables based on current carrying capacity and voltage drop,derating factor, etc.
- Load-flow and short-circuit analysis
- Co-ordination studies of swutchgears e.g breakers, fuses, etc
- Motor starting and variable frequency drives
- Modeling and Simulation of PGD Network in MATLAB or any other software
- Basics of electrical panel designing
- Technical documentation, design reports
- Expertise on Autocad and MS office
