Assistant General Manager Retail Leasing

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business development by building relationships with national and international retail brands.
• Understand brand expansion strategies and identify suitable leasing opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations between landlords and tenants.
• Draft, review, and negotiate Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease agreements, and commercial terms.
• Oversee end-to-end leasing transactions from requirement gathering to deal closure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, landlords, brokers, and corporate clients.
• Stay updated on retail market trends, new developments, rental benchmarks, and emerging retail formats.
• Work closely with senior management to develop business strategies and expansion plans.
• Ensure accurate reporting, pipeline management, and CRM updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail Leasing.
• Strong understanding of retail leasing, shopping centres, high street retail, and commercial real estate.
• Well-versed with modern retail formats, franchise expansion, and the dark store/quick-commerce ecosystem.
• Proven experience in LOI drafting, lease negotiations, and commercial deal structuring.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
