This is a part-time, remote role for an Assistant Financial Accountant. Key responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, maintaining financial records, supporting financial reporting activities, and using accounting software to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping. The role also involves performing analytical tasks to support financial decision-making and working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with standards and improve processes.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Strong Analytical Skills to support financial decision-making
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles
- Experience with Accounting Software and tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
